NDA's, Patents, Confidentiality
Financial Terms
Once the customer and us decide on the scope and work involved, we will
give you a cost. If there are variables involving materials and hours, estimated
materials and per hour cost will be given.

Usually a one-third down payment of the total cost is requested to begin. Once
we have a protototype finished and accepted, or delivered to you, we require
the second third of the total cost. We then put together all the stuff you need
for production and at that time we require the final payment.

If material costs are required the cost will be paid for as materials are
purchased. Hourly costs will usually be required every two weeks.

The above is the normal scenario. Quite often everyone has unique
requirements. We will work with you and your individual requirements to make
sure you can get your product developed.

EEIAM is very concerned with the intellectual property rights you possess or
may possess. What this means is that the idea or invention you have is owned
by you and remains your property. An "NDA" is a "Non Disclosure
Agreement" that we will sign stating that we will not steal or disclose to
anyone else your idea (unless needed to facilitate the development of your
project with safeguards in place).

With that said, there are issues that you should understand. EEIAM and it's
associates see a lot of inventions. Yours may not be so unique as to not
overlap someone elses ideas and designs. To the best of our knowledge and
legal ability (because of prior Non Disclsure Agreements and general prior
knowledge) we will disclose that to you. Click on the link Sample NDA to bring
up a PDF that you may print out that we normally use with our clients.

We also have the ability to help you patent your idea or invention. Please do
not hesitate to discuss this.
